How I Can Help You as a Therapist
I believe a mutually loving relationship exists for us all. Attracting & maintaining that love is an intentional act. Like many other therapists I have experienced the ups and downs of relationships. I've seen the good and the bad. I've seen a lot of people are stuck in old patterns and beliefs are unhappy about their current love life. Some of the "sorting out" starts with understanding how your past is affecting your current life. I use various therapeutic techniques to help you heal and grow. Again, sometimes old patterns of "being" keep us stuck and we are not able to grow to be the person we really want to be.
I utilize theories and other concepts to help people see an intellectual way of viewing their problems. I believe therapy should be just that, an intellectual conversation about issues. During that process we will discover solutions. Dealing with a new relationship, long term relationship or contemplating marriage are all valid reasons to speak to a therapist.
I also use teletherapy with clients who cannot make it in to the office. When we meet, we can decide if teletherapy (also known as Telemental Health) service are a good fit for you. Telemental health, a use of telemedicine to provide mental health assessment and treatment at a distance, enters its sixth decade as a well-known practice in the medical field—it has increased access to care, and patients and providers are very satisfied with it for a wide variety of services (The Effectiveness of Telemental Health: A 2013 Review - NCBIhttps://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3662387/).
